Suspicious Signs of Spring

For those of you who do not live in our neck of the woods, this is the view out our front window. Every day we see a little more ground and that is bitter/sweet. Then it is yard work.

And..... it appears that Dad has been out and about on his 4-wheeler. I wonder just what it is that he does while I am off to work!

He said that he was working on some wheels. Obviously!!

This is just a little Christmas fun with lots of kids on Christmas morning.
When we were at Justin and Amy's in November, Bretta wanted Grandpa to have a royal welcomeConn is sporting his two tone greeen dinosaur Halloween costume. Notice the accent of spikes down the head and back. It appears that his momma was not afraid of him at all.

I just thought that this view was gorgeous. I spotted it about a mile away from Justin and Amy's last November.

This really is not my quilt- it is LuJeans. However, most in my sewing group made one just like it and I am happy to report that my top is done and hanging in the closet-of-unquilted-tops since last Thursday. We started them last May and it is such a happy quilt and called Summer at Moms - a nice title for a nice quilt. The applique was very time consuming for me, but a new learning experience.

Instead of sewing last Wednesday, seven of us went on a quilt shop road trip and visited 4 quilt shops from Twin Falls to Pocatello. Chelsea met us in Rupert and snapped this photo for us. Left to right: Chris, Sheri, Louise, Susan, me, LuJean and Sonja. We had a fun, fun day.
"If you won't look at me, I won't look at you." The photo says it all.

Prior to Britnee's birth, Valerie had the perfect shelf for her plate of fudge!

I just thought that this was the cutest photo of Kyle, Miriam and Adney. This was the morning of the Christmas Brunch at our house. Aren't they adorable?

Another Christmas Brunch photo showing Jaci and Brook. Notice the plate in front of them with empty grapefruit halves? Brook had a record 5 of them. Obviously, she loves grapefruit!
